4 On the boards: A Historic Park Hill Residential Addition

Additions to historic structures are always a challenge - how does the new architecture respect the old, but also how does it avoid being inauthentic?  While the solution to every project is approached on a case by case basis, we have chosen in this Park Hill addition to repeat the historic gable forms while selecting materials that complement rather than try to match the existing. This helps the architecture tell the story of how the house has evolved to meet the changing needs of its users and of its time.
